Meredith Mauzé (she/her) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Supervisor. Meredith first attended Palomar College before transferring to California State University Los Angeles to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She then pursued and earned a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Southern California in 2011.

Meredith has experience providing dynamic, therapeutic support via case management and individual, couples, family, and group therapy to diverse communities. Prior to joining Dynamic Pathways Psychology, she was a case manager and clinical supervisor in San Diego’s foster care system and a grief and bereavement counselor for a hospice. Meredith developed a passion for providing affirming mental health support and advocacy for the LGBTQIA+, Relationally Diverse and Sexually Diverse communities after working with the HIV/AIDS community. During that part of her career, she provided therapy to individuals who were at risk, impacted by, or positive for HIV/AIDS and associated medical conditions.

Meredith believes that therapy should be a safe space for clients to process their experiences, explore and discover more about themselves, and work through their barriers to growth and healing. She believes therapy is a collaborative effort between client and therapist, and it is a journey that both parties walk together. Meredith provides a compassionate, empathetic, and sex-positive approach to therapy while deeply honoring collaboration and honesty between herself and her clients. She believes the therapeutic relationship can be one of the most powerful agents of change. Meredith customizes her work to each client’s needs and goals of therapy, utilizing a blend of Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, Attachment, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Systems approaches.

In her free time, Meredith enjoys reading, practicing yoga, lounging poolside, and spending time with her friends, family, and adopted dog, Lainey.
