FAQ

I have never been to therapy before, and I don't know what to expect!

This is completely normal. Just being here is the first step towards making a change in your life. The real question is what to expect in therapy. The truth is, every therapist is different and the relationship between each client and therapist is different too. At Dynamic Pathways Psychology, we believe in individualized treatment. This means that no two therapy sessions are the same. The first session will be an intake session, basically a snapshot of you and your history. The aim is to get a quick history, a brief understanding of what is brings you to therapy, and to set goals for treatment. After that, you and your therapist will develop a working relationship and get to work.

How often do I come to therapy?

This also varies on a case-by-case basis. At Dynamic Pathways Psychology, we would rather see you more often for a shorter period of time rather than longer and less often. Most individual clients come to therapy anywhere from once to three times a week.

Do you accept insurance?

We are currently in-network with the following health insurance providers:

We are currently working on getting credentialed with TriCare West, Blue Shield of California, and Magellan. Please check back often.

How much does therapy cost and what if I can't afford it?

Each clinician sets their own standard cash pay rate. Clinician rates are as follows:

Dr. Seitman: $225/Session
Becca Lantry: $180/Session
Ariella Jeansonne: $135/Session

If you cannot afford that amount, that is ok! We offer a sliding scale and payment plans.

How do I pay for therapy?

You can pay online using the patient portal or you can pay in office at time of service. All co-pays and private pay clients need to be paid by the end of the monthly billing cycle.

We accept all major credit cards and Healthcare Savings Accounts.

I need help in my relationship, how does that work?

We work with relationships all the time in any and all configurations. There are a number of models for providing relationship therapy, and at the intake we will decide what is best for you and your partner or partners. Everyone in the relationship will need to be in attendance for the intake session. Typically we meet as a group and identify areas of growth and change for your relationship.

Where can I find information on your policies?
